Maja was rescued on August 11, 2015 from the San Diego Humane Society Escondido, CA Campus. She was an amazing loving and loyal companion. In 2016 and 2018 she welcome two newborn children into her heart seamlessly. She was a nanny girl and a wonderful family dog.
Maja did not always have the easiest life, when she was adopted she was very timid and fearful of males. She was a part of my life for 12 years, although there was a short time she was not with me because I had to make some life altering changes.. the universe made sure that she indeed would make her way back into my arms and my home. I promised her after I rescued her again that I would give her the best rest of her life. The last year and 3 months with her have absolutely been the best most blissful experience I have ever had.
Maja was my shadow, she was always at my feet in the kitchen, waiting patiently outside the shower, sleeping at the foot of the bed and cuddling on her spot on the sofa. She loved her walks, treats, booty scratches, and lounging around with her family.
Maja opened my eyes and changed my life in many ways. Her presence here in our home is greatly missed. She was the best girl. October 11 was the hardest day of my life and we are heartbroken we had to say goodbye. We love you so much Maja. Until we meet again, run free. Rest in peace angel girl.
love your family,
Carissa, Charlie, Mikey, Chuck
