Respectfully, I have to disagree with what anybody else thinks of their own dog — Hugh was the sweetest dog ever to live. Maybe that’s because his owner was the sweetest owner. Maybe it was because Hugh was never an alpha dog. He was a loyal and devoted friend with a huge and courageous heart. He was a cuddly, 27-pound lap dog with incredibly soft fur. He loved peanut butter, cheese, and the soft parts of popcorn. While his sister Mina was still with us, he used to lick her ears till they dripped as she chewed his whiskers off. He thought everyone who came to the house was there to see him, and everyone who came to the house loved him. He wanted to be in the middle of everything.
We will love him and miss him forever.

May 13, 2025 at 8:33 pmHugh was such a special boy! He would always greet me with such enthusiasm whenever I’d visit, and enjoyed receiving the love and scritches that would follow. He had the kindest and most gentle spirit…Truly an old soul. You will be missed so very much, dear Hugh! <3 Sending Sue and Brylan our deepest condolences.
