Dear Murphy,
It’s hard to believe that you were just a tiny little puppy when we first met you. The 15 years we’ve spent together have passed in the blink of an eye, and through it all you’ve been the sweetest, cutest, funniest, most mischievous good boy we could ever ask for.
You’ve left us with so many wonderful memories in these 15 years — how you taught yourself to open doors, the way you’d fearlessly chase big dogs twice your size or stand up on two legs whenever you saw food, your obsession with pine cones and how you loved laying in the sun, and so much more. We’ll never forget how you’d nudge our hands with your head when you wanted pets, or how we’d hear you click-clack all through the house as you followed us around, or how you’d sit by our feet through the nights we were up late working to make sure we didn’t get lonely.
Murphy, you brought us so much love and happiness in our 15 years together. We wish we had a little more time together with you, to pet you and tell you “Good boy Murphy!”even just one more time, but we’re grateful we at least got to celebrate your 16th birthday with you. You were so loved by everyone you met, and we hope that you’re getting even more love where you’ve gone next. Thank you for all the years, love, and memories you shared with us Murphy, we love you so so much and you will always be in our hearts!
