I just lost my sweet baby girl, Patch. I held her the first day she was born and have loved her dearly for 7 short years. She was cuddly and social and was always by my side. She was very vocal with 7 different meows that I learned to understand. Aside from her kibble, she loved milk, bacon, croissants, and cheese. She purred so loud when getting pettings and scratches, and we sent each other slow blinks all the time. She was taken from me so suddenly, but I am grateful to have been with her for her transition and to be the last thing she saw as I snuggled and sang her to sleep. I wish my love was enough to save her. She saved me every day, and I will love and miss her for the rest of my life. Goodbye, my little princess. I am so lost without you, but I hope you are in a better place… with lots of birds.
