16 years ago this baby dog pitter pattered into my life. Getting to love Trek has been filled with happy days and a thousand wonderful hours. His unique, funny and loving personality held such a big place in my life. Losing him is losing a piece of myself. Trek loved Christmas and would unwrap his own presents and stocking, swimming at the lake and the beach, his small tennis balls and removing the squeakers from toys with surgical precision.
Trek brought so much joy into my life, and saw me through all of everything. 16 years is so much time and not enough all at the same time. I would love one more night to watch you drag your zebra bed for cuddles, but am grateful you are free of pain and at peace. I loved you for your whole life, and I’ll miss you for the rest of mine baby dog ♥️
